Small hole in the wall (in a good way) in Richmond's fan district tucked out of the way on a residential side street, this establishment provides excellent service and food. Kitschy vibe with a relaxing comfortable space. Very reasonable and comparable prices with food better than many mainstream restaurants. Come hungry leave happy and fulfilled.

This is the best charming, cozy, date night spot in Richmond. Tonight we enjoyed salmon on brown bread, and roast beef on ciabatta, but the real treat was the side cup of watermelon gazpacho soup, and the hummingbird cake for dessert. Everything is so relaxed here, and we’re looking forward to the next visit.

This place is a gem, cute and cozy. The food comes quick and always on point. I love the point guard with a side of potato salad in the window seat overlooking the park. They will also pack you a cute little picnic basket to take over to the park for a more intimate escape into the city. The server is always kind and polite. I really cannot recommend Garnetts enough, don’t take my word for it. Go check them out yourself!!

Garnett's is the spot that made me love Richmond. The sandwiches are always great (good vegetarian options!) and I've always had super friendly and understanding servers. Special shoutout to Kiki who made our night recently, they're so sweet to talk to and made sure we were taken care of!! Part of the charm of the place is the diner environment, which means you're meant to spend time enjoying the space and getting excited for your food-- have some mint lemonade and relax! :))

First time at Garnett's and loved it. Small, cozy restaurant full of customers. We had their Chaplain and Point Guard with coleslaw and french potato salad, very good. Highly reccomend if you are in the area. Thanks Garnett's! for a great lunch.

Small, good for lunch, they have a 35 date special for two menu items and a wine so I'll be back for that. The Leek and Potato soup was really good. The croque monsieur was good but the bottom piece of bread was so hard that I couldn't cut through it with a steak knife. It was fine though, I just ate the rest. The atmosphere was cozy and nice.

Fantastic local lunchonette and "watering hole" offering an eclectic assortment of sandwiches , salads , soups , and desserts . Quite small, but very cozy, so expect to wait (well worth it) at peak times. Hidden at the corner of Park & Meadow, a gem of the neighborhood. The cheese plate was Stella (no pun intended) with the creamiest Gorgonzola ever! My Croque Garnett was quite tasty and accompanied by a luscious cup of Potato Leek soup . Now wishing I had tried one of the house-made desserts (I'm especially fond of pie and the daily special was Chocolate Chess !!) Will return to try the cold sandwiches which looked extremely tasty !!

The best casual spot! They have the best “date night deal” (35 2 sandwiches, bottle of wine or pitcher of beer). Normally we sit at the bar and the bartenders are always very friendly and attentive.
